"This property is stunning . The breakfast is excellent. Cleanliness is top class . Staff are welcoming and very pleasant people. Grounds are kept immaculate by the grounds staff - who deserve a special mention for their excellent efforts . My minor negative is that , although the evening meals are excellent and tasty , the menu needs at least one “ Today’s special” on it that changes Daily .. as after 2 nights we had both used our options up on the very restricted choice menu - and so we had to eat out in the locality to try for something different and so not repeat ourselves. "

"Our stay was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast buffet in the Royalist restaurant each morning of our stay. We stayed in the Princess Charlotte suite. It is a beautiful room, spacious and comfortable. "

"All the staff were very helpful & friendly. The food was 10 10 couldnt fault any of it. Very peaceful atmosphere and relaxing music playing. Beautiful grounds around the hotel Pool area was peaceful, the shower room could do with a update and the locker didnt work, but wouldnt stop us coming again. "

"A bit out of the city but easy to get in and out of town. Room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent and so were the evening meals we ate there every night. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nearby laundromat was helpful for us!"

"Ok stay. Room shower hopeless, no spray just dribble. Comfortable bed.Breakfast was good but staff slow to replenish everything, staff clearly lacked training. No HP sauce."
