The Garden Apartment

"Great little apartment for our stay in Ironbridge. The joining instructions were clear. Although I think we were lucky to find 'temporary parking' near the accommodation for unloading, the locked car park about 400m away (apparently) was very useful indeed. When I realised where the apartment was I was concerned there would be noise from the high street but it was actually shielded from the road by the shops and thus very quiet with no traffic noise at all. The apartment was spotless (how do they keep things so clean!) and had everything we needed for a 3-night break. The welcome basket was fabulous. The apartment even has a private patio with evening sun (in June) with a stunning climbing rose. We didn't even find the shared garden until our last day. If I have to find a 'con' it is the lack of any view from the windows and the smell of pork pies in the entrance courtyard (I am vegetarian so not ideal) but these are very minor gripes and overall I would recommend & we would certainly stay again. "

"Right on the High St. of the quaint village of Ironbridge in an early Victorian flat with mod cons. Most windows look out to the famous bridge and the River Severn. You are steps away from shops, restaurants and the bridge. The only minus was no parking nearby. We had to park across the river and cross the bridge with all our luggage. No fault of the property owner, obviously. But the home is charming, full of period character while having a modern kitchen with microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Fully equipped kitchen, it had all we needed. Walk- in immersion shower was great. Plenty of space for the 4 of us. 3 bedrooms upstairs with a spacious master bedroom. One bathroom is shared by all. It was a very nice "home from home" for our 5 day stay!"
