"When I checked in, they could not find my room reservation booked and paid through Expedia. I had two reservations. One that was unpaid that was under my name and one that was paid that was spelled incorrectly with the wring phone number attached. I stood in the lobby over an hour trying to rectify the problem. Almost paid for another room until the manager came to assist. I called Expedia twice and they could only find the unpaid reservation and not the paid reservation. It was a complete mess. "

"Breakfast was incredible and breakfast space was stunning. VERY WELL DONE for a "breakfast included" hotel. Our room was larger than expected. SO MUCH FLOOR space. 2 bed and a sleeper couch. Highly recommend."

"The room was perfect, the bar open up at 4pm and they have happy hour at 5:30-7 they do have a little spot to get snack they are over price but they have water if you need any in the front desk . "

"The staff was so professional and polite. They went overboard for my 50th birthday experience. Plenty of shops and eateries near in the area. I will definitely return and stay at the Royal Sonesta in Chicago again and again."

"I was there for one night. It was a great price and it came with 2 complimentary drinks per person and a breakfast voucher. Staff was very nice from check in to staff at breakfast. The room was nice and spacious. All clean, no complaints. I thought it was a buffet style breakfast but it was a dine in experience. The bar was packed and they only had one bartender. It took over 10 mins to get a drink. "
