"We were only able to stay one night, but our night at the Vallombrosa vineyard was very peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and kind and were gracious to bring me some emergency supplies. Although the property lies in a beautiful setting, it’s important to note that it takes at least 30 minutes to get to Lugano and the lake by car. We received a bottle of local red wine as a VIP Expedia gift but free upgrades to room with a view on the lake was not available to us . The waiting staff were very friendly and the piano music in the evening felt very special . If the hotel provided coffee maker in the room it would make it even better."
