"Okay for a quick stop through. Rooms are a little outdated and could do with a freshen up."

"Lovely"

"The hotel was nice with many dining options within walking distance. The rooms provided good heating and was a comfortable stay."

"Wonderful property very unique"

"For a 340nzd/night hotel, totally unacceptable. While the reception staff was friendly and helpful, the condition of the room preparation and facility was shockingly bad. * No Shampoo in the room * The casing of the air conditioner is open, exposing internal compartments and components. It appears someone might be fixing or cleaning it, but the job is unfinished and it was left open. * The room's air conditioner was incredibly loud and made a constant, rapid ticking noise while running. "Staff friendly enough however when we went to ask some more information questions the office was closed, even though their office hours indicated they would be open! Room comfortable, warm & quiet. Handy to walk anywhere in town. A nice stay"

"Great experience overall and amazingly helpful and friendly staff"

"This motel doesn’t look impressive from the outside, but the inside was immaculately clean, spacious, and modern. Excellent value, definitely recommend."

"The 2 bedroom family room was small and sparse but cozy. The heated beds were a plus and the lodge was easily walkable to the grocery store, a great cafe, and the Fox Glacier HeliTours office. The office had games and puzzles to loan for rainy days. Room was clean and beds were comfy"

"Very beautiful views outside. It was nice to stay in small individual houses and not worry about noise from next door or above. The staff were very kind and helped as needed. We were able to use the kitchen to make multiple meals. Individual car park is right next to the unit which makes unloading and loading very convenient. Offsite parking for additional cars."

"Had everything we needed, clean and tidy, friendly and helpful staff"

"Très propre. Très confortable. Le foyer est un plus très agréable"

"Friendly team, good amenities & centre of town. Communal lounge & kitchen is well equipped. All in all a good stay at a good price."

"Property exceeded our expectations. Very comfortable& even had robes & slippers & high end bath products. Great location with excellent restaurant right around the corner. Highly recommend for stay when in visiting Franz Joseph & Fox Glacier area."

"Pro: Kind/friendly/helpful manager. Perfect wifi. Great location. Con: Room was a bit tight."

"Beautiful property Lovely breakfast catered for our vegetarian dietary requirements. Friendly staff and huge room."

"We enjoyed our stay in the Deluxe Tree Lodge, but encountered two issues. When we arrived, the heater was not working, but the staff very quickly addressed that situation. The bathroom had an intermittent sewer smell coming up from the pipes, but it was not a problem as long as we left the bathroom fan running continuously. Given the relatively high price for this accommodation, I can only give it four stars."

"Nice place"
