"They had free parking on the premises. A great bar and restaurant. Lovely gardens and staff were very helpful. Room was clean and tidy."

"I only stayed one night, but the room was clean and cozy. It was also private and quiet. The bathroom shower would be my only complaint, because the hot water wouldn't come out."

"Big rooms"

"Very welcoming & hospitable staff. Great location to walk the beautiful University of Otago campus & head to Forysth Barr Stadium for a rugby match."

"Lovely motel with friendly staff, close to the town centre, gardens, and NZ’s first University."

"This boutique hotel was very charming, with lovely decor! The breakfast was great and the room was very clean. Staff were also friendly and the view of the city was wonderful."

"The staff were exceptional, amenities were as described, location was outstanding, walking distance to so many things. Breakfast was lovely."

"Room was clean and cozy. Staff was really helpful at check in and whenever I needed something. Would definitely recommend and stay again."

"Clean room and the kitchen facilities"

"The property was located approximately 15-20 minute walk from the Octagon, or the main shops. Small grocery store was located across the road. The room was of a good size, bed comfortable, shower over bath which had good pressure. It was somewhat dated, but clean and warm. Would stay again."

"The room was spotless and very well maintained, the staff came out to greet us and get us settled into our room even though it was out of hours. The thing I like most was the room was spacious with decent seating. So often rooms are cramped and have uncomfortable chairs. The bed was very comfy and most importantly the pillows were good quality and clean."
