" Outstanding Stay at Fairmount Hotel – Truly Felt Like Home! I had an exceptional experience staying at the Fairmount Hotel in Zambia. From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch. The staff were incredibly courteous, warm, and professional—special thanks to Esta and Allen who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, along with the rest of the amazing team. Our room was very clean and well-maintained, and to our surprise and delight, we were even upgraded at no extra cost. The hotel arranged smooth pick-up and drop-off service to and from the airport, which was a huge convenience. Even though our flight was at 6 PM, we were generously offered a complimentary late check-out and a complimentary lunch—something you don’t find everywhere. The food was consistently delicious, and the location is perfect—safe and within walking distance to great restaurants, museums, local craft markets, and only about 10 minutes from the airport and the breathtaking Victoria Falls. To top it all off, the hotel has a vibrant nightclub with VIP access and a complimentary first drink, which made our nights fun and memorable. I highly recommend the Fairmount Hotel to anyone visiting Livigstone, Zambia. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next trip. Thanks again to the entire team for making us feel right at home! "A fantastic place to stay for visiting Victoria Falls! I stayed in one of the rooms within the campsite part of the grounds. It was perfect for what I needed - a comfy bed and a clean private bathroom. The basic rooms don't have TVs but it wasn't missed as I spent most of my time on the riverside patio at the restaurant! Having the Safpar booking office right on site was super convenient. They were able to arrange a trusted taxi driver who provided return transport to the falls, as well as airport transfer. It's probably a bit cheaper finding taxis outside of the hotel, but this was definitely a convenient option. The restaurant was fantastic, especially the pizzas 🍕 I would definitely stay again!!"

"Tongabezi is amazing!! I stayed for one week and didnt want to leave. If you are traveling from Zimbabwe it is very easy to cross the border and get to the hotel (they will arrange everything for you) Pros: The rooms are huge, internet is perfect (which was an issue in other places on my trip), rooms are elegant and modern (the decoration is BEAUTIFUL) and the food is really good (and healthy!) and the whole place is run perfect Mwila, the manager. Also- they have a gym! Which is amazing as many lodges dont have one. The trainer, Bruce is great guy and he is always there to help with the machines. Cons- I cant think of any in the hotel, it truly has been one of my best stays anywhere in the world. "
