"Absolutely rubbish! Disgusting. Place is dirty and filthy. The swimming pool had no water. I literally left the place after 48 hours even after paying for 7 days. Receptionist are rude. They charged me even after I had paid already. They claimed they had no association to hotels.com. I had to make numerous international phone calls to hotels.com to review my bookings. The place is absolutely dirty and should not even be registered on hotels.com"

"A group of 7 friends stayed here for 3 nights. The Lodge is very traditional and our 4 rooms were all beautifully decorated, very clean and spacious. The breakfast was included and was delicious, being cooked to order, even having options such as Eggs Benedict. We also ate here on 2 evenings and the food was fabulous and very reasonable. "Wonderful property, staff and grounds were wonderful and top notch. We had the absolute best time at the hotel. Would return to the same hotel if we find ourselves back at Victoria Falls. The gym was also great, and we the animals (impala, zebras, giraffes, and monkeys) were everywhere, so fun to have them so close! "

"I loved my stay at Lake Safari Lodge. The rooms were very comfortable with a nice seating area outside with great views of the lake. The grounds are beautiful- full of flowers and trees and with lots of seating from where you can admire different views of the lake. The view from the infinity pool is stunning. Lovely buffet breakfast with a great selection - the fruit platter is a work of art ! But most of all it was the friendliness of the staff which made my stay. From the owner to the waiting staff everyone made me feel welcome which is particularly appreciated when you are a solo traveller. Thank you all . "

"September 2024. What a wonderful gem of a place! I was impressed with the beautiful rooms, and the incredible self-catering utilities available to us. The host who greeted me on my arrival was extremely friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to make my stay comfortable. The property is very safe and secure with locked gate, and undercover parking, so my vehicle was out of the hot sun! Stunning views of the sunset over Lake Kariba, and a beautiful, clean swimming pool. What I particularly appreciated was that one could also access the communal lounge, dining area, and kitchen through an internal locked door leading from the room. The huge kitchen was spotless and had everything you need for cooking, cleaning, etc. I will definitely be returning. Thank you for a wonderful stay! "
