"This was a goof one night stopover on the Cabot Trail. We were traveling with our two Goldendoodles so it was convenient in the back ground floor unit to go in and out. The room was clean and neat with fancy embroidered towels and bed linens which felt out of place as the room itself is dated. The grounds were nice for a walk to the beach ."

"Cute little house on the main road in Pleasant Bay (though not crazy traffic). Convenient to town and the one restaurant (The Rusty Anchor). Very clean and the owners were very nice."

"Property right on the Cabot Trail. Convenient if you are planning on doing a few hikes over a few days. Bring your groceries with you - not much around. Beautiful views from the property. We could not hike down due to physical limitations. The bedrooms are small. For my husband and I the bed in the “larger” bedroom was too soft. Loads of CDs there if you like. I enjoyed the coffee table books greatly!"

"What a beautiful spot. Truly out of the way, which meant for longer drive times into both sections of the national park and beyond, and minimal conveniences in the village, but also meant extreme quiet, privacy, and unspoiled beauty. For us, that was just right."
