"We loved staying at Bea’s place at casuarina point. The beach is really lovely and walkable with too many sea turtles to count! My hubby fly fished the flats just behind the house for bonefish. We had a lovely time exploring and chatting with Bea, who was a lovely host! Thank you!"

"We LOVED our stay. A week of almost private beach paradise. We kayaked to a cay. Spend the days in the beach gazebo. Starfish, sand dollars, and conch shells right on the beach!The house is well stoked with games and puzzles, as well as beach toys for the kids.The house is easy to get to. A short drive back to Marsh Harbor for food and dining, or try Pete's Pub or the Abaco Club near by. "

"This property has fallen into disrepair. Nothing like the condition of a previous trip. We stayed in 2 units and both had numerous defects. VRBO over promotes this property . The owner incapacitated and lost control of the situation..be aware."

"We’ve been to Sand Dollar 5 previous times but we won’t be back. The location is excellent but this property should be removed from VRBO (and others) until serious upgrading and new property management. (We found out that the owner isn’t well and probably won’t return to the island). The “caretaker” was away when we arrived and apparently didn’t know it was rented. The gas was off! Unkempt, dirty, rodent droppings; appliances, fixtures, utensils all lacking and/or in bad repair (no hot water in bathroom sink, shower head corroded).Caretakers indifferent. Grounds and amenities neglected. Really a shame. Bill H & Karen B."

"The photos of this property really don't do it justice. Amazing house, where the owner has really thought and anticipated all guests needs, with high quality furnishings, and amenities. The view is just glorious, and the beach was superb. Easy to get to from the airport, and easy to get to local attractions like cherokee sound, petes pub and the neem farm. Michelle was a fantastic host, incredibly responsive and helpful. Will definitely return on our next Abaco adventure"

"This is a great property! The house is in perfect condition and fully stocked. Kitchen had everything we needed (including sharp knives which is rare in a rental). They have beach chairs and games available for use. The location, while a little further out, is exactly what we wanted. I wanted a place away from the crowd and we got it. It is like having your own private beach. The home owners are great to work with throughout the process. They communicated prior to the trip and helped us arrange a chef one night to come to the house. They are quick to respond and welcoming. If you are considering this house, go for it! It is fantastic!"

"We had a great holiday week over Christmas! We have visited several other islands in the Bahamas and every one is unique! The cool thing about this island is the abundance of sea life!This house is situated with the mangroves on one side and the ocean on the other. Right out the back doors we saw an ABUNDANCE of conch, sea turtles, sting rays, a barracuda, TON of star fish, a small nurse shark, pin fish, puffer fish, an octopus and bonefish!The house was spacious enough for the six of us to spread out and gather when we were entertaining. The boat that you can rent is a MUST DO! We had the time of our life on it and the experiences and memories we made will be cherished. "
