"Quality of furnishings needs some care."

"Very clean rooms and very helpful staff too the location had great parking nearby which is a huge plus in that side of Italy the main sight seeing attractions or restaurants where maybe 30-40 mins away depending on traffic that would be one of my only downsides but seems it was the normal for a tourist since we aren’t allowed to drive in the (ZTL) zones which is where those sightseeing spots are so for a tourist renting a car this is your go to my last downside was the walls weren’t soundproof...

"very clean friendly staff breakfast is very nice and you can find every thing you want I will recommend my friends to stay on this hotel"

"Very good service and generous."

"Excellent location, staff and amenities. Location is great if you want to walk to major sites and shopping. Great restaurants short distance from hotel."

"This is a follow up to an earlier review. They were great!! I called reception to share my dissatisfaction with the noise coming from across the street at a pub. I swear it sounded like a street party outside. Anyway, the sent security over to the pub and within 20min they fixed it. Thank you!! I had an early flight this morning and got a good nights rest!!"

"Wonderful location, friendly staff. Rooms, entrance lobby etc are very, very cramped. We struggled to get in and out on arrival/departure - luggage, no automatic door - but no one came to help us. Our rooms were functional but very small and not as clean as would be expected for the price. Breakfast was disappointing - poor quality coffee and far too many cakes at the expense of fruit, granola etc. Overall, this is an extremely expensive hotel which did not live up to the price."

"We loved the terrace breakfasts and late night drinks on the rooftop patio. The staff was consistently kind and accommodating. The central location made getting to/from all the historical sites on foot much easier. We'll book Ruby Hotels in the future. Thank you!"

"Excelente hotel."

"From the minute rear, arrived at Hotel Golden, we felt at home. Giuseppe, the Owner of the establishment was so kind and generous with his accommodations and his helpfulness. We felt like family. The accommodations were Lovely. Everything was clean, and the family were so accommodating. It was wonderful to stay in a place that was family. Owned and operated. We felt very safe. The location was perfect to walk the nearby shops and enjoy the local food and market. I hope to travel to Italy...

"Clean, comfortable, quiet...affordable"

"The breakfast choices were expansive - including all they could think of to please foreign travelers- however, the eggs were always cold and the pastries were lacking. I would have loved to have had a legit buttery cornetto instead of a soft bready thing that looked like a croissant. But that is the only complaint I can come up with. The staff was fabulous and helpful, the hotel was beautiful and we loved having aperitivo on the rooftop bar."
