"This hotel is a quaint little gem. From the moment we walked in, we were instantly comfortable and knew we were in a special place. The website says each room is thoughtfully curated - you can choose your unique room when you book online. Our room was cozy chic with a comfy bed, pillows, a Dyson fan, heated floors in the bathroom - other than being a bit small, the room was great. We were lucky enough to have dinner on the rooftop the evening we arrived and the included breakfast the following...

"Nicely rennovated. The beds look great but are not that comfortable . . . hard lumpy mattresses. There is only one desk chair so nowhere for two people to sit. Served a nothing breakfast in limited space for this size hotel when it has lots of guests. Our room outdoor space was on the busy street with traffic noise. Convenient location next to shopping mall, Dennis Menance Park, historic downtown Monterey and close to Cannery Row."
