Room was very clean and nicely done. Lighting outside was a bit bright so our room (203) had light filtering in through the blinds. Staff was very pleasant and courteous. Overall a good, economical place to stay. Renovations being done that seem like they will make it an even more pleasant place to stay.

This is one of our go too spots in Monterey and we did a last min trip for mlk 3 day weekend with the kids we usually get a suite w a balcony but they didn’t have any available this weekend so we got a regular room with 2 queens and still had a fire place and was amazing as always great customer service they came out with a new texting number you don’t even need to go to the front office to check in or out so it’s super fast and simple and quick responses our overall stay was 10/10
