"We visited Florence again for our 25 wedding anniversary. Love the city and all it has to offer, but the icing on the cake was where we stayed. We stayed for 1.5 weeks and the accommodations made it feel like a 5 star experience. "The reception was extremely helpful with all our queries even before we got to the property and really helped make sure we had a comfortable stay. The apartment came with amazing views and the basic necessities. The pool was a very nice size and kept clean for us to enjoy. We also booked a horse riding lesson which was with a great instructor and I’d highly recommend a ride if you have the time. Thanks for the hospitality! "

"This place is just a haven, in the apartment you will find everything you need. I want to mention espresso how clean is everything, even the swimming pool. It is a perfect place to relax and to travel in Tuscany, I do recommend this place to everyone. You will stay in the heart of nature and relax in peace, with bottle of italian wine and italian food. "Difficult to find, as only the name of the adjacent hotel, San Ruffino Resort, appears on the sign at the shared driveway. Room decor is in serious need of an upgrade (weird 70’s vibe and a lot of dangling wires) and the kitchenette and bathroom are rudimentary. Landscaping is dreary. Breakfast was basic and seemed like most items came from a supermarket. Helpful and friendly staff and the San Ruffino rResort pool (which Il Poggia guests can use) was pleasant, as were the grounds of the Resort."
