When our flight was delayed and we had issues with our car rental company, I feared there would be no one to let us in the hotel but Vincenzo was kind enough to stay up to 1am and accommodate our entry. "The staff at check-in was very helpful even though he spoke no English we were able to communicate effectively and he helped us to figure out our parking spot in a private lot, which is definitely a challenge in Palermo! The rooms were small, but neat and clean, perfect for what we needed for our stay. The building does not have any windows in the hallways, and so the lights automatically turn off, which took some getting used to, but wasn’t a problem in the end. it would be nice in the future if we could have multiple keys for the room. If one guest wants to stay in the room and the other one wants to leave, you have to take the key with you as you cannot access the building without it. But you also must leave a key in the wall in order to get electricity. Overall, a good stay and a great location if you were wanting to be right in the center of the food markets and historical landmarks around."
