"The room was clean and comfortable. We had a room with a small balcony with beautiful views of the bay and, in the distance, the Aeolian Islands. Mama Lina and everyone else was very hospitable and friendly - we certainly felt at home. It is 5-10 minute drive from the town of Patti - we preferred that it was quieter than being in a town centre. It is helpful to know some Italian but if not you can always use Google translate! "Our family of four loved staying here. Maurizio and his staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The home cooked traditional meals were delicious, our rooms were immaculate, the views were amazing and we really enjoyed the peace and tranquility. The large, clean pool was fabulous after active days visiting the Etna region. We went out in the local town for dinner once and can really recommend it. Thank you!"

"Abbiamo deciso di soggiornare tre notti. Adesso dico prima di tutto che il posto è molto bello e silenzioso. Però devo consigliare un poco di cose da fare ancora. Primo: in tre giorni non abbiamo mai avuto né pulizia della camera né letto rifatto ne tantomeno bagno lavato. Secondo: ho trovato solo due grucce nell'armadio. "A wonderful property in such a beautiful setting. Quiet and peaceful, surrounded by vineyards with views of Mount Etna and the village of Castiglione perched on a hillside. "We arrived at this hotel after some complications with googles directions (google maps does not know where this hotel is) and were greeted by the owner. He took us to our room and showed us around which is when we realized that he does not speak any English so communicating was challenging. In the morning he provided us with a nice breakfast in his beautiful restaurant."

"We rented this property so we can meet with friends and family from different locations in US and Europe! The terrace overlooking the sea was roomy and great for gathering with our friends and family who stayed at other nearby locations! The sun was hot in the afternoon but the shade of the terrace at that time of day allowed us to be able to spend time outside overlooking the water. The house is steps away from the beach! The village is not touristy which we loved as we had a genuine Italian...
