"This winery-accommodation was simply magical. We had a friendly check in. After dinner, we returned to have a wine tasting. We bought some wine and sipped it by the pool as we watched the sunset. In the morning, we watched the sunrise over the vineyard. It was breath taking! Excellent service and experience. "

"Access to the property is quite tricky and not for the faint hearted but it is in a stunning location . A car is essential. The property was charming and well equipped . It has amazing views . The description Mari - monti is true but it involves quite a trek down the mountain . It took us about 40 mins each way to access the coast . It is set in a beautiful part of Sicily and you get a real feel for life in this part of the island . The owner was very helpful and answered questions promptly ....

Pleasant surroundings once there, but for anyone looking for comfort, this is not the place. Sparse furnishings, not a shelf, hook or soap dish in bathroom. Secondly we wanted to be central so we could visit Naxos, Mt Etna and Palermo. "We spent two weeks in a villa and enjoyed visiting NorthEast Sicily as well as Aeolian Islands. The place is quiet and yet just 5-10 min away (by car) from the nearby town and motorway. We tried local olive oil and it was veeeery good. That was the last week of September plus first week of October sso evenings and nights were pleasantly cool."

"We loved this place. The owner spoke little english and us no Italian, but between us he was able to proudly tell us of his home produce wine and farm. "We had a wonderful stay in one of the houses in the citrusfarm. The house has all the basic things you need and a private terras looking over the citrusfarm. The property is very well maintained by Ciro, a lot of flowers and of course the lemontrees. There is a nice pool area next to the house and a terras lower there is a very nice breakfast area. "Beautiful property and extremely friendly staff. My girlfriend and I loved staying here. The food was amazing and all for a great price. When we wanted to go catch a ferry to Vulcano, one of their staff took us and brought us back. We were also lucky enough to stay an extra night in our tent."

"This is a charming hotel, half way up the hillside, surrounded with olive, fig and lemon trees. The hosts are very welcoming, the food is home cooked and lovely and the views stunning. Rooms are old fashioned and comfortable and the pool area is quiet and relaxed. You need a car to make the most of exploring the local area and getting down to the beach and supermarket."

The terrace overlooking the sea was roomy and great for gathering with our friends and family who stayed at other nearby locations! The sun was hot in the afternoon but the shade of the terrace at that time of day allowed us to be able to spend time outside overlooking the water. The house is steps away from the beach! The village is not touristy which we loved as we had a genuine Italian...

"We loved our stay. Everyone at the hotel was helpful, amazing, and professional. Our rooms faced the pool and had large terraces. The breakfast had multiple choices such as meats, eggs, yogurt, cereal, fruit, pastries, cheese, juices, etc. we also had an excellent dinner at the hotel. "
