"We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a bicycle trip in the peloponnese. The location in old town was perfect - a bit busy during the day, but wonderful after about 5:00 p.m. The accomodation was excellent, but be aware that if you are trying to self-cater and use the kitchen facilities, there is no real grocery store in the old town, so you have to walk/drive the 1.5 km back to the new town (which has great facilities). "5 stars! The Elea Mare is a fabulous value in an authentic Greek coastal village, run by a host (Greg) who personifies customer care. We can’t praise him enough for the warmth of his interactions with us! As an example, our young-adult daughter became mildly sick during our stay, and Greg provided tea and offered to check up on her when we left her in the hotel by herself for half a day. The hotel is a short walk from a small beach and town harbor and near several excellent dining options....

"Truly excellent experience. Had a wonderful time and our room was spotless with a great view of the sea. Highly recommend. Zoi's (marble) cakes are delicious and Paula (owner) is very kind, polite and helpful. Smacked in the middle of Pounta (Elafonisos Ferry) and Neapoli (nearest town) makes it a perfect location, not to mention the beach right in front of the hotel with a nearby (2 min walk) beach bar. Would love to visit again!"

"Nice simple clean hotel with a nice pool area. Close to Monemavasia (which is great !), about 90 minutes to Elafonisos (amazing). Very friendly and accomodating owners. Great restaurant (with mini market) a 2 minute walk away. Quite a few other restaurant options in area. Very hard beds. "

"The welcome was delightful.Dimitris the owner was most helpful before our stay & answered all our questions. Room was cleaned daily, towels changed every other day same with bed linen. Breakfast buffet had variety& food was always fresh. Freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious. This was our 2nd stay of 2 weeks & we hope to return. View from breakfast terrace of Monemvasia was superb & amazing to enjoy it in perfect weather."

"Okolica piękna ale dojazd jest trudny. Myrtoo to kameralny pensjonat, nad samym morzem. Bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielką. Codzienne sprzątanie a pościel i ręczniki wymieniono trzy razy w ciągu tygodnia. Pokój, który mieliśmy nie był zbyt duży. Balkon w widokiem na morze z trudem mieścił dwa krzesła i mały stolik. Wygodne łóżka. Bardzo dobry stosunek jakości do ceny."
