We had finished a 2-week trip with friends in Turkey and Greece, and this was our special "couple time" to celebrate a big anniversary - but we had gotten sick the week before. "This is a very unique medieval castle and the rooms we stayed in were full of amazing character, beautiful architecture and stylish furniture. The staff were amazing, so warm and welcoming, I could not rate them more highly. They went out of their way to care for us. The breakfast every morning was fantastic, just about everything you could want was there and delicious. The rooms were a good size, clean and comfortable, with plenty of room for luggage. A very enjoyable experience. "

"We loved everything about it. We had a room with a balcony overlooking Monemvasia and the ocean. Stunning. Parking is along the road that connects Monemvasia to the mainland. This is where EVERYONE parks. The reception is right inside the castle walls but it could be a bit of a walk from there on cobblestones depending where your room is. Breakfast is fantastic and everyone is so nice and helpful. "

"Truly excellent experience. Had a wonderful time and our room was spotless with a great view of the sea. Highly recommend. Zoi's (marble) cakes are delicious and Paula (owner) is very kind, polite and helpful. Smacked in the middle of Pounta (Elafonisos Ferry) and Neapoli (nearest town) makes it a perfect location, not to mention the beach right in front of the hotel with a nearby (2 min walk) beach bar. Would love to visit again!"

"Nice simple clean hotel with a nice pool area. Close to Monemavasia (which is great !), about 90 minutes to Elafonisos (amazing). Very friendly and accomodating owners. Great restaurant (with mini market) a 2 minute walk away. Quite a few other restaurant options in area. Very hard beds. "

"We enjoyed our stay. You definitely need a car to get there. As going anywhere is atleast 25 mins. Staff was friendly. Had a little mixup at breakfast but overall, it was a pleasant visit. "
