"We loved our stay at Palacio de Santa Ines. We were a little early, but were allowed to check in. The employee working the front desk was SUPER friendly and helpful. Our room was on the 3rd floor and there was no elevator. No problem at all. They had someone to bring up our bags. We had a view of the Alhambra just as advertised with a nice sitting area. We were about a 20 minute walk to the Alhambra which is why we came (I would recommend taking a cab if you are going. Only about 5 minutes by taxi and avoids walking up significant hills; we learned the hard way, but at least we got our steps in :)...The walk to the main plaza from the hotel is only about 10 minutes which was great too. When we checked out the front desk called us a taxi which arrived within minutes.. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I go back to Granada"

"Very helpful staff. Hotel is 5 mins walk from Alhambra palace which was a plus and there was a bus right outside that would take us to the central area which was great, Otherwise we would be trekking up hill for at least 20 mins on the return journey which we did on our first day. Yes, the view from the patio restaurant is amazing. Highly recommend the hotel. Great selection of breakfast items. "

"The biggest comment I have for this lovely hotel is the incredibly kind and helpful gentleman who helped navigate us in for parking. Granada is a nightmare for navigating because the GPS does not work when you get close to the city center. The breakfast was so worth the cost. The location was perfect and close to all we wanted to see. Take away- Don’t drive unless you have to. "

"We recently stayed at Puerta de las Granadas after much research and it did not disappoint! The location is absolutely ideal. Situated only about a short walk from one of the gates to the Alhambra, it’s also just steps away from Plaza Nueva—what we felt was the heart of everything. The area is filled with plenty of bars, restaurants, shops and the hop-on-hop-off bus. It’s also not far from the Albaicín and Sacromonte neighbourhoods, so you're perfectly positioned to explore the best of the city. The hotel is incredibly clean, and while the rooms aren't massive, they are very comfortable with a great shower. Our room featured a Juliet balcony and lovely views of Cuesta de Gomérez, the pedestrian route to the Alhambra. The room had great soundproofing, so street noise was never a problem, the perfect place to relax after a busy day of sightseeing. The hotel has an on-site restaurant which we tried on our last night. While the menu isn’t extensive, the food was good and the service and staff very pleasant. We also enjoyed the rooftop bar on a couple of occasions—this is an absolute must. The views of the Alhambra and surrounding area are spectacular. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return!"
