"After a rather "bumpy" start the great hotel manager Flavia and her young & local, a yet commited staff (Mateo, Mathilde, each of them) made my stay at Monastero a place to remember and plan to come back with my family. The building is fantastic, very well referbished with soft shades of white that it's a joy to experience the "dolce fare niente" by the pool, wondering around the laberinth and discovering great views of the countryside and the redish roofs of Cortona from different points of views. The indoor pool though small it's a plus to unwind on a misty day. 5 days at Monastero felt short! Grazie mille Flavia and staff. Local Amaretto and biscotti will make their way to Punta del Este, Uruguay and enjoyed with so fond memorias."

"Nuestra experiencia en Relais Villa Baldelli fue excepcional. Nos sentíamos como dentro de una película. El personal sumamente amable, el desayuno delicioso. Las tortas que ofrecían eran hechas en casa, y los croissants se deshacían en la boca. La ubicación ideal, con una vista preciosa de Cortona. Una verdadera villa toscana. Sí creo que deben remodelar los baños. La ducha era muy incómoda y el lavatorio tenía una fuga. Al alfombra de la escalera se ve bastante gastada, así como unos muebles. No le puedo dar un 100% de calificación por esos detalles, pero un 90% se lo gana."

"This property met all our needs for a one night stay. It is conveniently located near the train station and near the old town area. The people we encountered were friendly and helpful. The breakfast choices were plentiful and the breakfast area on the rooftop patio was beautiful. The only negative was that the walks of the room were thin and we could hear neighbors quite a bit. "

"It was an enchanting whole apartment typical rustic Tuscany/Umbria…if you are Aussie and in Italy for a while and cooking for yourselves you might want to buy a set of tongs and a spatula. Fraticciola is a short drive to Cortona Conad a huge shopping centre where you can buy everything…there is a large fridge/freezer, 4 burner gas stove, washing machine..the hosts are lovely and very kind..hose outside to clean the car…we spent a week and used it as a base to visit Siena, Perugia, Orvieto, Assisi, Arezzo…highly recommend! "Amazing time. This hotel looks straight out of a movie. We got our rooms upgraded to a suite when we arrived. I couldn’t say enough amazing things about it. We stayed one night and I wish we could’ve stayed longer. Highly recommend. The receptionist was super nice and helped us immensely."
