It is very rustic and in a beautiful setting. So relaxing. And, because it’s not right in town, the best of both worlds. "Just on the slope nestled between Cortona city and the Calcinaio church, the location was perfect for us. We enjoyed the serenity of no one immediately around us while only being a very short drive from the city walls. (Admittedly, we could have walked, but driving was easier!) "Property is stunning. Small medieval village with an awesome pool in the hills of Tuscany. As for the rooms, you are camping in a medieval village. Expedia claims A/C, but we did not have. the rooms that have A/C are only portable units. A little tough when it is a hot August in Tuscany. The beds are horrible. Again you are camping in a medieval village. Location is very remote from other Tuscany towns. That being said, it is a beautiful place to camp in a medieval village. "
