The host family lives in another house on the same property, and are very nice and hospitable, while not being intruding in any way. "Lovely property in a fantastic location far from the Madding Crowd, not that we found a crowd anywhere we visited. The only problem we encountered was the aggressive mosquitoes which stopped us using the pool. Other than that it was a great week away."

"We had the most amazing time at Il Poggio! The property is well maintained, Roberta and Marina were incredible, and the location could not be beat. We took day trips (by car) to Siena, Arezzo, Florence, Orvieto, and Montalcino, all of which were easily and quickly accessible. The property manager is extremely responsive and helpful, and went as far as stocking groceries prior to our arrival and preparing dinner for us the first night. "This villa is AMAZING!!! We had a group of 6 adults but EASILY could have fit 4 more. Coming from the US, this is the epitome of what we Americans envision Tuscany to be. We still can not believe how little we paid for the week, this would have easily been 3 times the amount in the US. "I brought my family (5 adults with 80 y/o mother) to Italy for Easter Holiday. Property was beautiful, easy to find and to get to off A1 allowing us to get to many local Tuscany attractions. House was perfect for adults with ample sitting areas, large bedrooms and bathrooms. We enjoyed a wine tasting and dinner one evening in the property which we thought was outstanding, would stay here again."

"La Colonica is large and beautifully furnished - we only used one, but there are 2 large double bedrooms with showers. The hosts are very friendly, and David is English, so no communication problems. We were free to roam about the grounds - there is an olive grove attatched. "This is a stunning property with a stunning view that photos simply cannot do justice to. My only reservation was the very poor directions to find it and some difficulty getting a hot water issue sorted out . The garden is stunningly beautiful and lavender bushes a hive of activity for bees and gorgeous butterflies that did not desturb us in any way even when standing in their midst observing them closely. "We loved our stay at “Villa Rosa”. The owner was very informative and provided all the detail and recommendations we would ever need. Alex the property manager was there to greet us to show us around and later provided further answers. The Villa is very comfortable with all the amenities you could possibly need. Great Wi-fi too. "We had a perfect week in this delightful house. It accommodated our large family group perfectly and we loved the pool, beautiful views and the pretty town of San Sepolcro nearby. Chris was welcoming and helpful from a distance, and Simon and his family, who look after the villa and its lovely gardens, were very kind and so helpful - a real addition to our stay.Warmly recommended!"

"Such a quaint home, clean, quiet and beautiful. Close to the center of the very small town of Montepulciano. The host is very sweet and even cooked a cake to welcome us to their home. The view of the valley from the home is simply breathtaking."

"Stephano goes out of his way to make his guests feel at home. The place was comfortable and spotless. We enjoyed getting to know our host and his city. The kitchen is well appointed with a well stocked wine rack. Read through the reviews, they are accurate! Comfortable bedding, lovely surroundings and, oh yes, a wonderful bakery across the street. "Wow. If I could click 10 stars for a review I would. What a fantastic stay with super fantastic people. Our visit was at the end of March and it was beautiful. I can't imagine how beautiful this place would be later in the year. As for the hosts..... they could not have been more friendly and accommodating. They made us feel more like family then guests. I recommend 100% anytime of the year. Not to mention... there is not a more beautiful part of Tuscany."

"This property is located approx 5km from the beautiful town of Arezzo. There is a bus every hour, daily, from Tregozanno, where the property is actually located, to Arezzo. It is very rustic and in a beautiful setting. So relaxing. And, because it’s not right in town, the best of both worlds. There are no restaurants in Tregozanno but there is a great butcher and deli/mini market. There is also a pharmacy and bar! Maurizio, the owner lives next door and is the loveliest, most helpful human being...
