Travelodge by Wyndham Brandon
10/10 Excellent
"Very clean well maintained"
Lakeview Inns & Suites - Brandon
8/10 Good
"Everthing about the whole interior is pretty much outdated. Our sink faucet is super outdated, still in the 80s with the tap being the round ball that collect green mold inside, I do love it, especially the pink pastel walls to the sink counters and tiles, but needs to be perhaps making it look clean and pristine would really go a long long way, such as cleaning, dusting the baseboards caulking the seams between the tub and wall tiles and making it look fresh, would most likely make it feels more luxurious, and make it feel at home, there was just a bit of lack of cleanliness through the whole room and the interior building. The layout of of room was amazing with the king size bed and the French doors added a quaint privacy from the suiting area with the pullout sofa and the little mini table and chair. Everything was outdated, it needs some TLC, and freshening up with the furnishings and their amenities."

"My wife and I travelled across Canada and are on our way back home. This is the only motel we go a sleep score of 84. Most have been in the 50’s. Best sleep in a while. Thanks"
Sand Lake Log Cabin with Hot Tub
10/10 Excellent
"The cottage was so cute and exactly what I needed for this weekend! Other than the fact that it was quite dusty in spots and there were quite a few spiderwebs the place was cozy and quaint! It’s just a short walk from the lake, the hot-tub is right off the deck, and the hosts left us a complimentary bottle of red wine which was a nice treat! The stairs are definitely very steep, I used them more like a ladder (going down backwards) and at one point the tv remote died, but the hosts have extra batteries in the kitchen drawer ready to go. (I just forgot to change them haha) I loved being able to turn off the air and keep the screen shut and sliding door open while I enjoyed working in the livingroom. It’s the perfect example of being set out in nature but still being able to enjoy certain creature comforts. The hosts left an array of spices, basic kitchen tools and staples (cooking oil, coffee, tea etc) Overall I will definitely consider booking here again next summer. The lake is only a short walk away and it was beautiful at sunset."
