"Hotel grounds and building grand… bed rooms tired need a refurb, carpets crawly… bathroom clean and had been refurbed. Room was not serviced. Staff at reception low energy. Staff at breakfast much better, buffet breakfast average …. Bacon left to cool in sauce pan with fat accumulating … consider ala carte it could have been so much better …. Overall 2 nights served its purpose but was expecting much more so disappointed "

"We loved our weekend stay at Owl’s Barn. The house was immaculate and the beds and furniture were spotless and so comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped and we really appreciated the welcome basket and all the toiletries in the bathrooms. The gardens/grounds were beautiful and right in the middle of a nature reserve so it was super tranquil and full of wildlife. The outside bath was the cherry on top!"

That is actually one of the reasons I chose it, reliving childhood experiences of quaint English inns. Beautiful, peaceful and affordable. Right near Bibury Trout Farm & the Cotswolds or, I suggest the small village of Carterton for a nice slice of pizza."
