"This was perfect for a 4 day work trip"

"Beautiful property and VERY clean house! The house is much larger that it looks in the photos and the cleanliness is next level, even for an older house. The master bedroom mattress was great but all the other beds in the house were a little uncomfortable but not an issue for us. The horses and ranch dog are magical! Kona, the dog, came to visit us every morning and we LOVED her. You can also roam around and pet the horses in a BEAUTIFUL old barn. Keep in mind, there are workers on the property (gardener/ranch hand etc.) as well as the owner, so you don't have 100% privacy. But this is to be expected since it's a working ranch. There is also a second "glamping" unit on the property so you might run into them as well, but not a huge issue since the property is so large. Also, there is no Netflix or streaming and the Wifi doesn't really work (very rural area) in case that is important to you. However, there is a DVD player and a lot of movies. The owner will give you a tour of the house and property when you get there and we loved her. She was fun and always helpful whenever we needed her. She even helped us build a fire one night, which was super helpful for us city folks haha. The hot tub is a small barrel but very clean and can fit 2 with a tight squeeze. The kitchen is FULLY equipped for cooking (we cooked every night) and even had corn holders for our bbq corn, literally has everything you could need! Including pans that aren't scratched. HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING HERE!"

"We had some night owl neighbors above us and we didn't get much sleep. I asked for an extension of my check out time and the staff happily agreed. Continental breakfast didn't have much of a selection but the food they did have was good. I felt the price of the room was perfect for what we got. Everything was clean and the staff were super nice."

"Our family had such a fun time at the Detroit lake house! Beautiful house, perfect for us all, plenty of room and the amenities were top notch. We loved the kitchen and put it to good use, lots of family dinners and room for many of us to be in the space together. The bedrooms were just right and the amount of bathrooms were perfect for our large family. Great backyard, the fire pit, and the hot tub were definitely a hit! We had a great time, thanks for everything!"

"My daughter and I stayed on this property for 2 days at the end of our 9 day hiking trip in Oregon. The property was outstanding and the owners were friendly and accommodating. The facilities are clean and comfortable and it is very convenient to the Silver Falls State Park to hike the Trail of 10 Falls. I would highly recommend Lori's property and plan to stay there again on our next trip. "

"We loved our stay at this beautiful home! While we spent most of our time out on the lake, it was such a treat to return each evening to a clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed space. The home had everything we needed - especially in the well-stocked kitchen - which made it easy to prepare meals and relax together. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, and the overall atmosphere was cozy yet spacious. We would definitely stay here again!"

"I have only one concern for the Rock Tree House, and that is that not enough peeps know it’s there and have enjoyed visiting it!! From booking, to communication, to its peaceful setting and beautiful accommodations, to the thoughtful attention to detail, this place is one of the best stays we’ve had yet! The listing is completely accurate and the place is SUPER CLEAN, and beautifully set up. Cindy and her husband have a gorgeous property and you can tell they care about your stay. There are so many extra touches they do not have to have (i.e. coffee supplies, silver falls pass, extra bathroom supplies in case you forgot something, snack basket- came in very handy for our hikes) but my favorite was the sweet vase of flowers on the sink! We enjoyed the “tree house” deck setting and watched turkeys, a doe and her fawns, and hummingbirds as we drank coffee or played cards. Very comfortable for my husband and I, and our 18 year old daughter. Silverton has a super cute town and it is so close with lots of shops and food options. Thank you for sharing your lovely space with us. I hope to come back and be able to stay again!!"
