"Great resort except pool closed"

"This hotel is modern looking, breakfast is included. There is a bit of road noise but the comfortable bed compensated for that. Rooms are a good size and clean. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Hampton Inn Anchorage. "

"The Dimond was clean and convenient location. The lobby could use some freshing up, the entrance is a small revolving door which is cumbersome to get luggage through and the handicap door did not work. I know we’re in Alaska and it does get cold but it was around 60° outside. It was warm for us, but yet there was no air conditioning in the hotel room. They had a fan which lowered to 60 and you could open the window. When I inquired, they weren’t sure if there was air conditioning, but said...

"Clean and convenient, friendly staff. Provide a free shuttle to airport and downtown. Our floor was in construction the day we stayed but aside from visible signs there was no inconvenience. "

"Check in was friendly. It was Manager’s social evening night. Have some cheese, fruits, noodle soup, cookies, beer and wine available for all guests. Good size of room. Bed needs to be replaced. It’s sunk towards middle "
