"I was apprehensive to stay here after reading some previous reviews, but it really wasn’t a bad stay. Can’t say it was an amazing stay, but definitely was better than I expected. Our room was clean and the staff were friendly. I do agree with everyone that talked about the noise, definitely no exaggerations there — this hotel is situated right next to a highway that is busy no matter the time of day, which made it difficult to sleep. We had to keep the TV on all night to help drown out the noise of cars driving by. There was a bridge right outside our window that had a metal connecting plate on it that made a loud banging noise each and every time a car drove over it, which was about every 3-5 seconds. I really think that it would be great if this hotel invested in white noise machines to put in every room since the windows definitely aren’t soundproofed. The outside of the hotel also could use a little help. I’m not sure if it’s the hotel’s responsibility to maintain the mulch & shrubbery area that lines the perimeter of their parking lot, but someone really needs to address it. Lots of trash, nip & beer bottles — it was the only area for our dog to go to the bathroom and it wasn’t a pleasant experience. Ultimately it’s unfortunate that people even litter in the first place. I’d probably stay here again if I needed to, but I’d be sure to bring ear plugs with me next time."
