"Excellent location with easy access to beach, Headlands State Park coastal bluff trail and the vibrant downtown shops, restaurants and bars. But the hotel itself needs attention. Our garden suite was large and had a newly-renovated bathroom, but the bathroom counter was cracked and we had an ant problem. The bed was comfortable but stark - a sheeted mattress over exposed box springs. Our antique light fixture had burned out lights and the room smelled a little musty. No breakfast option...
