"This is a nice clean hotel with a good breakfast. It is good for travelers. The first non smoking room we were given had obviously been smoked in, but the staff quickly moved us and bad behavior by previous guests is not their fault."

"Staying at the Hourglass was comfortable and clean. The breakfast included is a great bonus, with many coffee options/ tea, danishes, cereal, yogurt, fruit. The shower was lovely. Some rooms have soaking tubs only (no shower). Air conditioning was welcome (though there was a bit of the Bakersfield farmland smell). Pool and hottub outside is great"

"From the outside it may feel a bit deceptive, but once I stepped into my room I was truly surprised on how maintained and clean the place was, I had good customer service as well! For my first time ever experience, I was truly over all happy to see that looks don’t do it justice, be aware you’re getting what you pay for so that’s why I feel like I have to say that is was aware and to my surprise I was met with a pretty chill environment! "
