"We had a fantastic stay for our family of seven adults at this beautiful log home! Communication was excellent throughout, and the house was a clean, comfortable, welcoming space. The extra touches like an abundance of soft towels, kitchen essentials, ice maker, and a beverage fridge made everything so convenient. Outdoor amenities were top-notch too, with plenty of firewood and comfy seating. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. The lake was peaceful and clean—perfect if you have access to a boat (we loved our pontoon from a local rental!). Just keep in mind that the steps down to the lake are quite a workout, especially for older guests or anyone with mobility concerns. Highly recommend!"

"The hotel matron was absolutely delightful and kind. The building, tho older is well maintained and extremely clean. The lobby has so much natural light, making breakfast a joy. The clientele was a mix of short trip folks and extended stay laborers. Very quiet and peaceful. The hotel shares a cul-de-sac with a gas station, ice cream shop, pizza parlor, subway and liquor store. "

"I like everything about the hotel on the second floor and Barbacoa restaurant below on the first floor. The owners were easy to talk with and if I were in the area I would definitely stay here again. Note: No elevator but my wife are used to stairs."
