We stayed in a suite and it was very comfortable with a good bed. The property is quaint and the staff were excellent. Enjoyed our time there, we biked the trail in both directions over two days.
It’s a newly updated hotel of an old building. It was clean and comfortable. The restaurant downstairs had good choices for lunch and the person we dealt with was very kind.
Our room was lovely; it was more like a suite in that it had a separate small living room/kitchen area. The bathroom was huge and it was very clean and comfortable.
Such a cute room! Much more enjoyable than a standard hotel room. The room was very large, so you definitely wouldn’t feel cramped. Lots of towels and toiletries. Very comfortable room. I will definitely be recommending to others.
A wonderful quaint hotel. The owners did an amazing job of refurbishing this historic hotel into a relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant downstairs also serves great food and drinks!
This was a wonderful place to stay. I loved the atmosphere and the history of the building, and my room was more than comfortable and accommodating. I’d go back in a heartbeat.
Our room was remodeled but still maintained all the character from an 1800’s building and when you crawled in to bed, the sheets smelled so fresh 😃.
Great small town feel with a couple of bar & grilles and a bakery shop right down the street. My wife fell in love with the bakery and was so impressed with the staff.
Real nice historical Blding, bathroom was nice clean bright. Bed was good ac worked good smaller room but I want a bed and a bathroom at a reasonable price
That’s what I got
Texted for info, quick answer
We left a pillow of ours in the room I came back 6 days later, they had at the deli downstairs me !!
Thanks again will stop again
The restaurant below the hotel is delicious.
The basic rooms are just a simple small room with a bed and bathroom, the suite was worth the extra money.
Stairs are a little steep to get up carrying your luggage,
Parking was across the street but not a terrible walk,
Overall I enjoyed my stay.
We loved our stay here. Our suite was huge and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and food and drinks downstairs were great. We will definitely be back!
My friend and I spent 6 nights in Room 201, which is the two room suite at the front of the building. They were comfortable rooms with an equipped kitchenette and double sinks in the bathroom. Both in our 70’s, we managed the steep old fashioned stairs slowly and carefully. It was quiet except for our last night. Being on the street across from Albany Legion Memorial Park there was an hour of excitement from teenage girls on the sidewalk below our windows with big truck horns honking but it peacefully ended by 9:00. Housekeeping could have been better—dusting, floors, mirrors, refrigerator, coffee maker. Overall, it was good stay and we recommend it.
Really easy check in and the hotel was quiet enough for a really great afternoon nap and then a good nights sleep after visiting with our friends in the area! Comfy bed for sure!
Single room is small but it really has all you need! 😎
We will be back for sure.
I like everything about the hotel on the second floor and Barbacoa restaurant below on the first floor. The owners were easy to talk with and if I were in the area I would definitely stay here again. Note: No elevator but my wife are used to stairs.
This was a very convenient place to stay for a weekend while visiting family. The room was spacious (we rented the suite) with ample room to relax. The kitchenette was very handy for making coffee/tea, etc. There are places to walk to for lunch/dinner and the restaurant downstairs (Barbacoa), however we didn't partake of onsite dining. For the price it's a great deal. I would only say the circulation in the bathroom is lacking after a shower and it got a little warm despite the AC's. There were two of them in our unit. I would recommend changing out the light bulbs in the bathroom to a cooler white and lower wattage to mitigate the temps. Other than that, we would certainly stay there again. It beats the other options.
This is a very unique place to stay. They really need to get the sign up out front so it's easier for people to find their destination. However, the room was very comfortable. The bed was awesome. Very clean and updated.
Stayed here for an overnight work trip and 10/10 would stay again. Amazing faculty and the whole experience was just incredible. Very nice rooms, like a home away from home. Nice quiet town not far from St. Joseph. Overall one of the best hotels I’ve been to in awhile! They also have a restaurant below with great food and smells. All of this without spending an overpriced amount. :)
