"Last minute booking at the george lovely hotel with fab breakfast in a gorgeous village. We had the cheapest twin room but hadn’t realised the bathroom was accross the hall from the room when booking. It was okay as we were only their a night. Breakfast was good also would recommend just don’t book that room ."

"Lovely old pub to stay at. Plenty of parking. We were there Sunday night and they have limited menu for food (roasts, fish and chips or a burger) but what we had was really good. Shout out to Jill who seemed to be every where. Dealing with check in, serving behind the bar, taking orders at the table and delivering food to tables!!! Amazing!! And to top it off a really good breakfast to see you off. Highly recommended"

Checking in was easy although it would have been helpful to have two room keys. The woman on the desk did not seem entirely in the same world as everyone else. "We arrived late and had advised the hotel we would be doing so. There was no one at check in. The staff were very helpful at getting someone. The property looks great from the outside. The rooms are tired and could do with a refresh. When we arrived it was a particularly hot evening. There was no air in the room. The manager found a couple of fans. We couldn't open the windows as we were on the ground floor and a big group were outside our window. Its a shame that they are unable to install...
