"Neat place. Feels like a boutique hotel. Beautiful grounds. Nice pool and hot tub area surrounded by garden koi pond and flowers. Room was super nice, great bed and delicious homemade breakfast with scones and apple crisp. We enjoyed our stay. Only thing is you have to be ok with the smell of sulfur since water comes from underground springs. "

"This was quite possibly the best hotel I have ever visited. The staff was amazing. The breakfasts were complex, interesting, and absolutely perfect in every way. The rooms included every amenity one could think of and several I could not have thought of. The hotel preserved a great deal of the history of the house, even things like a stereopticon with hundred-year-old pictures of the house. "Our room was in the Lodge on the 2nd floor. Very tiny room right next to the kitchen exhaust. At 1:20 a.m. the fire alarm went off. It was attached to the ceiling so we could not turn it off. There was no one else in the lodge. We opened all the windows and turned on the fan in the room and it finally went out. I reported this to the management but we received no discount/compensation. We also ate dinner here; $45 each for a very small piece of sabelfish and grilled cabbage and small salad....
