"Economy room was nicely decorated. Only negative was that one side of the bed was next to the wall which made getting in and out a problem. I was not happy to be asked for a £40 deposit incase of damage to the room.Then on check out being told it would take upto 3 days to be refunded. I would only return to this hotel because of the location. convenient for the City and our daughters flat."

"We only stayed for one night as we were flying early the next morning. Beds were comfy, TV was nice and big. Only gripe is there is no drink making facilities in the room, free coffee and tea is available near reception, just be nice to have the ability to make a drink in your room. As the hotel is called ibis budget, it's not going to be a premier in or holiday express, for the price we payed, we can't complain"

"I think this hotel has got a bad reputation from previous reviews but I think you have to contextualise the market that they target. Clearly it is a budget option and the standards obviously mirror this. Could it be better? Yes of course, but then it would be more expensive. I felt it was very convenient for staying the night after a festival I attended, it had everything and more than I needed e.g. clean sheets, warm heater, excellent fast WiFi, TV, clean bathroom/ toiletries, TV and coffee/tea...

"Great communication from owner from the start of our stay and answered any questions we had. Beautiful location and the property was lovely, everything needed and the balcony looking over the river was also nice. Kids loved it. Also lovely neighbours and made us feel welcome to the area Thanks again and will book again for next year"
