"For a two-night stay near Mesa Verde for us and our grandchildren, the house was perfectly adequate. We did discover that there were two sets of check out instructions which we tried to follow but they need to be updated to match each other. Yard was not freshly mown which did not give a good visual when we checked in and the dead grass clippings had not been swept up along with dirt and cobwebs on the front entrance detracted from the interior of the house. The interior was very well equipped. Beds were very comfortable. Everything appeared clean and neat, however I feel that the housekeeping charge was excessive. There were a couple of clumps of mud under the coffee table in the living room as well around the dining table. Everything else appeared in order. Because of all of the added charges, I do not expect to use Vrbo again."

"Great location. We used location for a base camp to travel to Arches / Canyonlands / Telluride and Durango. Nice quiet location to return to to have a quiet dinner and sit on deck. Town of Dolores is only a 5 minute drive with grocery and restaurants. Site is pet friendly with fenced area off of deck for your pup to explore while you sit and relax."

"No evening still by the river for us. When we got close to the river Bank We were questioned as if we were hoodlums and chased away by an unkind troll of a women. Told we couldn't be there. The Curtins were sun faded brown velvety color. They they made the place smell funny when the sun was at it's peak. Blankets and pillow cases dirty. There was a dead bird in the hot tub, the cover was off and on the ground. The hot tub did not work.The bathroom toilet upstairs was taken apart and had dead flies and other bugs inside. We had to do our own cleaning as well put someone else's dishes away. Sheets hadn't been changed and there's a electrical issues with the porch area the lights went crazy going on and off randomly all night and no we looked they were not floodlights. Microwave and fridge and cooking utensils were dirty gross. There was literally a blanket of dust on everything so the cabin quite literally was not opened for us from a "previous" tenants...?! We pretty much based or trip activities around the cabin if we had known the hot tub didn't work we would NOT have booked also the deck is rotting from under next it'svery soft and not very sound. I would not recommend this place to anyone. "
