This is a beautiful hotel. It is extremely clean, the staff are very pleasant. Rooms are large and well equipted. Breakfast is standard, but there are certainly alot of choices. We didn't expect it to be such a comfortable stay-very pleasantly surprised!

The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was amazing and very accommodating. My family had been traveling, and we're pretty tired. My 3yr old was not in the mood to be in his car seat any longer. The staff was able to accommodate us to check in early, which really put a nice stamp on an otherwise rough day. Coming into a clean and comfortable room was a huge boost. The staff at the front desk was very polite, understanding, and greeted us when we entered and exited the Hotel, reminding us of amenities.

Overall, it was good. Had to wait for someone to come to the front desk to check us in. As we came and went several times over several hours (and the next morning), the same pile of mud from someone’s shoes was in the middle of the lobby. The room was clean and comfortable.

The room was spotless, the coffee maker was super-basic, something to make stronger coffee would have been much better, maybe a Keurig. Highlight was the chili stew with the breakfast. I picked this hotel based on a review which mentioned the stew and was not disappointed. Kitchen staff were helpful and friendly. We pass through Cortez several times in a year and will keep coming if you keep the chili stew!
