"We had a lovely time at City on The Hill. We were looking for somewhere secluded with a view of nature. Our cabin at did not disappoint. We stayed at Grace and it was perfect for our long weekend needs. We bought groceries with us and were able to cook breakfast and a few meals. We had a hot plate with us but there was also one provided in the cabin. There is an outdoor grill on site for use which we didn't get to use simply due to time constraints. So many other amenities were provided...

"After being out to the museum each day for two days this was the perfect retreat. The private hot tub next to the bedroom was the perfect place to relax after a very active day. The location was very convenient and I enjoyed have lunch in the front yard."

"We've been to Fredericksburg several times over the past 15 years... this is the first time we rented a house. We'll never stay at a hotel again. The house was just lovely, perfect for a couple. We sat on the front porch and sipped drinks at night and watched the deer run down the street. The quiet nights and the comfortable mornings were priceless. Loved our stay!! "

"Came up for along weekend for my husband’s birthday we truly enjoyed the beauty and quietness of this cabin . We brought our two dogs and they enjoyed our long walks. We went to the Rec Center one day and swam , we also played pool, ping pong, and air hockey we really worked up a sweat had so much fun"

"My wife & I visit Fredericksburg frequently from Boerne, and the Pioneer Cabin is at the top of the list as to location, amenities & comfort. We planned our visit around attending the Food & Wine Festival, and we were able to squeeze in a trip to hike Enchanted Rock as well as a few wineries and of course some great German/Bavarian meals & pastries. CHEERS!"

"One thing is going on vacations, the whole next level is time traveling. This cabin is amazing and spending a few night there has enriched our lives by tasting the legendary past that's reflected in every inch of this wonderful cabin. "The cabin was adorable, clean, and offered a ton of space for a small family with or without dogs. Having the hot tub and plenty of places to hang out outside was definitely a plus. It wasn’t a big deal for our big trip, but heads up that the fridge in the cabin was a mini fridge and not a regular-sized fridge as listed/pictured. Overall, it was a great stay!"

"We had the most incredible time at Red Sands Ranch! The property has outstanding views of the bluffs and river and each cabin is perfectly outfitted with everything we needed. The cabins were definitely more than glamping?? In fact, the bed in the Sunday Cabin had the most comfortable and adjustable mattress just like our bed at home - wasn't expecting such a high end mattress, but it was wonderful! We played tennis and pickleball all day and because of the lights on the court - we played well...
