"This is a truly relaxing and magical place to visit and stay at. The owner and her staff are amazing, kind, and hospitable people. I can't think of a better place to recommend. The breakfast food and dinner food is quality and made love. We also met an amazing group of people who were staying there as well the same weekend! Will be returning!"

"Even though you're on the edge of Fredericksburg, you feel as though you are in the country. If you love animals, this is the place. Cats, ducks, etc. all are very friendly. Little interaction with the staff, but responsive when you need something. Restaurant and music on the grounds. "

"Our stay was very comfy !! It was an amazing couples getaway ! They went above and beyond to provide everything needed for a get away in the Texas hill country ! We had a personal fire pit for the cold evening ! Inside we had a comfy bed with an amazing view outside to all of the wild life !! Roaming free they had longhorns,ducks,chcikens,and black buck deer! "My wife and celebrated our 33rd anniversary in the Hill Country. We probably looked at least 100-200 properties before landing on this wonderful gem. "Not a fan, wouldn't stay again. Stayed in the Alden Haus, suite 2. Room was clean, bed was pretty comfortable, bring a fan or something for sound because it is eerily quite at night plus you can hear the people in the other room (we could even hear them use the bathroom). They need better curtains, if your light is on when it's dark congrats everyone can see clear into your room! Hot tub area needs to be cleaned, I get it's an closed in area outside but it wouldn't hurt to dust or sweep it out...
