"I’ve stayed at every type of place Fredricksburg has to offer and this was one of the best. It is in an extremely convenient location steps from Main Street but it was so quiet and peaceful it felt like it was miles out of town. Several deer ran across the creek and through the backyard. Everything was very clean."

"This place was clean, neat, and so quiet and peaceful. There were deer and you could hear so many different birds while sitting on the patio. It is close enough to town to do things in Fredericksburg, but far enough away to enjoy the quiet country. The host was fantastic. Far enough away to give us our privacy, but close enough to respond to any questions we had. We loved this place and will definitely go back!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the Grist Mill Cabin. Two things I would say. The steps are hard to navigate without a rail and the bathtub was hard to get in. We are both over 65 so in case you’re a senior citizen you might think about that. When we arrived on Monday around 6 PM we had to drive around the parking lot 3 times to find a parking place because Me. Gatti’s Pizza was busy."

"Very secluded but within minutes of town. Hummingbirds were everywhere! We also enjoyed watching the deer, squirrel, a turkey, jack rabbits and regular rabbits. The cabin was cozy but did lack a few things we could have used. The bed was comfy and the hot tub was great for my aching joints."

"Everything was great, nice hot tub and shower. Our AC stopped and had to contact the manager. I did not hear back from the manager for awhile. Upon my second message, she got back to us, and came over and fixed the problem."

"Very cute and cozy little cabin. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The bed however was very uncomfortable and the floor was dirty. I kept picking up lint and hair on my socks and shoes. It was a great place to stay while we visited Fredericksburg."
