"The hotel was in a lovely old building, our room was clean, tidy & a good size. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our dinner last night and breakfast was very good. We'd recommend it."

"Communal areas excellent but rooms a little tired, especially bathroom which needs some tlc. Staff excellent. Dogs allowed and well received."

"An old building and we had stayed just once before the current owners took on the hotel. The staff were friendly, excellent prices for drinks both in the restaurant and bar. The Sri Lankan food was superb, tasty and full of flavour, next time I'll as for it to be hotter. The room was clean, comfortable despite being in an old building. Bathroom spotless, lovely fluffy towels, perhaps a little smell of damp in them. We will certainly return."

"Great location for motorsport fans , bed was comfy and clean , staff were very helpful ."

The room, however, was dated and not particularly clean. The shower had black mould and the toilet and bathroom floor had not been cleaned properly, the shower was also quite tight. The bedsheets were also past their best and the mattress was uncomfortable. The location of the property is great. We spent a day in Oxford...
