Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa All Inclusive

"We are returning today from our stay at Coconut Bay Resort. We travelled with our three adult children and had a great time. The proximity of the resort to the airport cannot be beat. The resort is spacious, beautiful and meticulously maintained. It is not a massive resort so we never felt crowded and never had an issue finding chairs, even in the shade. The Sargassum is particularly bad right now, essentially rendering the beach unusable. However, the views are beautiful and the resort does everything possible to remove the Sargassum. They do offer a free shuttle to a beach on the Caribbean side of the island in Labourie which is free of Sargassum and in a beautiful bay. They also provide free drinks at this beach. The meals were very good, specifically the Silk and Calabash restaurants. We did two excursions (one private and one through the resort) and really felt we had the opportunity to see the island and experience the culture and the warmth and friendliness of the St. Lucian people. I’m not sure I would stay here as a Honeymooner, but for families of all ages I would absolutely recommend the Coconut Bay Resort."

"The staff was very helpful and got us everything we asked or needed. Room was nice and cool, shower, faucets and everything worked accordingly. Hot water took a second to change from cold but it was very hot when it did come out. WiFi worked well too. Pool was clean and pretty quiet. Breakfast was on par with other breakfast buffets. Omelette station was quick and delicious too. One perk that I don’t get at fancy hotels was Netflix/Prime/apps so we could watch a little TV to wind down at the end of the day."

"Place was very nice quiet and relaxing. Lots a pool to choose from, especially in the adult area. Night life if you like to party or dance wasn’t a thing there though. Food choices for dinner was very good and you can get into specialty restaurants even if you don’t make a reservation but you might have to wait if you don’t make reservations thou. Overall I’d go back there again"

"We did the all inclusive. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. We stayed in the 2 bedroom overlooking the marina. It was enormous and the staff kept the room clean at all times and fully stocked. The staff is very friendly. The beach is fantastic. No seaweed and very clean. One downside is the service in the restaurants is unbelievably slow. There is only 3 restaurants and 1 was closed completely while we were there. The remaining 2 are not both open for dinner so we ate at the same restaurant for dinner most nights. We were told August is their slow season and we waited more than an hour each night for dinner to get our food after we sat down. Our last night - we never ate dinner. 90 mins waiting - spoke to a few different staff- then a waiter who was very kind- brought us out a dessert and we said we still had not received our meal. We said just cancel it and we left. The hotel is very quiet - not a lot going on each night so if you are looking for a laid back quiet vibe it’s great. And again- the beach is beautiful."
Secrets St. Lucia Resort & Spa All Inclusive Adults Only

"My boyfriend and I stayed at the Secrets St. Lucia Resort 7/30-8/2 Thursday to Sunday. Prior to our arrival, I upgraded us from the basic king room to the ocean view King suite in the preferred club. Originally, I wanted a swim up or a plunge pool, but the room we upgraded to was nice. The view was beautiful. The service was great unfortunately preferred club only allows you to get top shelf drinks from two places on property the preferred club lounge and the preferred club pool bar. I would say because the property is so large, that is a bit of an inconvenience, but you do have the option of having your concierge bring you your drinks if you’re at the pool or by the beach. We tried that, but sometimes they didn’t respond back to you. Other than that, the property was well maintained. The grounds were beautiful and the staff was very accommodating. St. Lucia is a gorgeous island with Rodney Bay/Gros Islet being located in the North where the resort is. However, while you’re there, you must travel to the south to see the magnificent beauty of the Pitons near Sugar Beach. It is breathtaking. We will definitely be open to visiting St Lucia again. So much to do we couldn’t cover it all in one trip."

"The room was very clean and well appointed we had an amazing view and the staff are incredible. We were not all inclusive, but we did have breakfast included, which was amazing; nonpowered watersports were included in the price which was amazing. We did the sailboat excursion to the pitons which although it was reasonably pricey at $550 for two adults and two children included food drink and entry into The mud baths, waterfall, taxis up to the volcano; and the boat staff were incredible, (especially justice )"
