"I always enjoy staying at Maldives Resort when I visit the Gold Coast. I especially appreciate the handy location at Main Beach and the allocated underground parking space. Unfortunately, the particular apartment I was allocated to for this visit had a noticeably noisy fridge, even worse at times. With not being able to shut the bedroom door (obstructed by the bed) this was very annoying."

"Close to shops, Marina, Cafes/Restaurants, water activities & SeaWorld. Had dinner. @ Terraces Restaurant, as usual service was outstanding & food delicious. The architecture is distinctive & the foyer & ocean views upon checking in demands complete attention! It’s not called the GRAND Sheridan for nothing! Simply Spectacular."

"Whilst our apartment was the right fit for our adult family, the cleanliness could have been better, with clothes left in the washing machine and dryer and a big liquid spill under the lounge which we found when we were cleaning before we left. A big disappointment was the renovation/construction noise in the apartment above from 8am until at least 4pm, lots of drilling, grinding, cutting and banging noises. "Beautiful place to stay! Great amenities with 2 large pools, within close walking distance to Tedder Ave where there is shopping and restaurants and of course main beach! Building Management were lovely, welcoming and friendly! Would highly recommend staying here! Unit was a bit dated but it was clean, tidy and ample amount of space! Thank you to the Contessa for a wonderful holiday. "

"We couldn't quite go "excellent" but our Unit was very good and we would definitely return. Some of the fittings were a bit old and jaded. The shower heads were inadequate. The stove was difficult to operate until you understood how it worked, and that wasn't easy. But, these were small issues. Cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils. fridge etc were very good. The Unit was very clean and tidy and was well furnished and decorated. The staff were very obliging."
