The hot water has challenges but once I messaged them, they were over in minutes to help. If you have a rental car, this could not be more perfect as the parking is adjacent to the home. "This was a beautiful piece of property to stay at in the city of Assisi. It was in a location that was very easy to access all the major Catholic holy sites. We took the city bus line up from the train station and were within a manageable walking distance from the bus stop. There are plenty of nice restaurants and cafes near by. A major plus was having the police station just down the block, so we felt extremely safe walking around at night."

"Stayed for 4 nights on part of a long gal pal trip to France & Italy. This place was simple extraordinary . Starting each day with a breakfast that had every imaginable food options to suit your style. No lunch needed after feasting in style. Happy hour could not have been better, the cocktails were a work of art, as were the complimentary appetizers! Each day we thought we would try some other restaurant in Cortona, but ultimately always chose to eat in the dinning room, and we were never disappointed. The wine, food, service, ...all outstanding. Oh my, the rooms, sheer indulgence, the views, the linens, the daily treats left for our enjoyment, the accessories, space & lighting options in the powder room. The ambiance of this hotel, combined with the staff, made our stay memorable indeed. I hope to be lucky enough to return!"
