"I only did a 4 star because of the fact that it was not mentioned anywhere that if you do not have your own vehicle you are basically stranded there. There are no taxi's and Uber/lift is not always available, like very rare. So if you are relying on that to get around, you will be very frustrated and possibly stranded. "We stayed at the Country Cabin as a home base between the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. This place worked well for this. It is small but when you are with your high school sweetheart, and happen to be celebrating your 40th wedding anniversary, I would say “cozy” would be a better description. "

"The property is an easy drive to Downtown Madison and Clifty Falls! The views from unaide the housr are awesome to watch the barges and ships on the river. Communication with the owner was fantastic! Just becareful pulling out of the driveway... people speed around the bend."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was clean and well decorated. It has all the amenities we wanted. Lots of room and bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen. We particularly loved the fire pit outside and we had a great bonfire. Two thumbs up!"
