"We arrived very late and all the restaurants in the area were closed. There is not much in the area anyhow with exception of one Mexican food restaurant. The front desk host was very gracious and offered us food. We had planned to leave our vehicle at the hotel and walk to the Ark because it was advertised as walking distance, however, you have to use a hotel key to get through the gate to access the pathway. The hotel key will not work if you check out that morning and go see the Ark so we ended up having to use the parking lot since we only planned to stay the one night. "
