"This establishment is advertised as a "Hotel" on your platform, when in fact it is a "Motel". We were scared! The strong smell of weed was always in the air. At 2am a man was banging at doors cursing, looking for someone named "Arianna". When he did find the woman, there was cursing of all types of profanities. This went on for more than half an hour. There were people having sex loudly at all intervals throughout the night. People were in and out, with doors banging closed, speaking/cursing all night. Around 4:30am a man was sloshing a large mop cleaning the floors. The bucket rattling through the halls. What hotel cable ties the iron to the ironing board!!?? I have pictures and video. We were forced to check out the next morning. The person at the front desk never apologized for all that went on after she was informed. She said the person that was banging on the doors was drunk, and he was checking out that day. He was NOT a guest there. He was going door to door looking for "Arianna". It is not safe there and Expedia is putting lives in danger having this location on their platform. I intend to go to whatever company or agency to get my refund and make others aware of the dangers of this motel."

"Ordered a room with a hot tub that didn't work and never got fixed. Manager said he would get it fixed or change our room - never happened. The hot water dribbled out of the faucet, while the 2 sinks and the shower worked fine. Door had gaps (up to 1/2") around it. Both televisions had to be fixed to play. The thermostat on the heater did not shut it off. The floor transition strip to the hot tub area was a trip hazard, and they had to replace the hair dryer. On the 3rd day of our 4 night stay, the assistant manager (Suki?) agreed to refund me the difference between a regular room and our room. He gave me a form that shows a refund for the difference - $164.42. Imagine my anger when I saw my credit charges, and they took it off, AND put it back on my bill - charging me the full amout that I had booked. I left early on the 26th, and no one was at the front desk to give me a final receipt. I'm a retired Quality Manager as well as having been a Secret Shopper and have dealt with customer satisfaction all my life. I have to say the manager has a very poor attirude towards customers and it showed in his interactions with customers as well as his facial expressions and body language. Most of the staff acted similarly. I have to admit that the man who checked us in, and the assistant manager were very congenial. I lived in the area 1/2 of my life and passed this hotel many times over the years. My assessment then as it is now - It's a place I wouldn't want to stay at."

"After 150 years in operation, you’d expect this hotel to have mastered hospitality. It hasn’t. As an Expedia Platinum member with 40+ stays this year across top hotels in NY, LA, Miami, and Europe, I understand the difference between policy and service. This property fails on the latter. My fiancée arrived ahead of me for check-in. The hotel called me to verify her identity, which I confirmed immediately. Despite that, they still refused to check her in, leaving her waiting in the lobby for nearly two hours. No urgency, no courtesy, no effort to recover, despite a time-sensitive schedule for a VIP event at UBS Arena. The next morning didn’t improve. I requested a late checkout to have breakfast on property. After a 20-minute discussion with a manager, they granted a minimal extension but failed to mention breakfast ends at 10am. We arrived expecting service, only to be turned away and left waiting for lunch. That’s not a minor oversight, it’s a lack of operational awareness. For a hotel that leans on a 150-year legacy, the service feels rigid and disconnected. At every stage, there was an opportunity to elevate the experience—and it was missed."
