This captivating home sits in the centre of Lyme Regis and is just minutes away from the small lanes and streets with lovely boutique shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants and just a 5-minute walk to the seafront with sandy beach, promenade and the beautiful Lyme Regis landscaped garden. It lies towards the bottom of Hill Road in this buzzing seaside town.
The house is entered via seven steps to the side of the property straight from the drive where there is ample parking for three cars (a rare thing for a holiday property in the middle of Lyme Regis so near to the seafront and amenities). The living areas and shower room are on the ground floor and the family bathroom and three bedrooms on the first floor. Through the conservatory and out to the exterior is the terrace with outside furniture and also access to the cabin, which is just perfect for two to be able to escape for some space and quiet time during their stay. It has its own living area with kitchenette and en-suite bedroom.
There are numerous “living” areas in the main house at Hillside – the main living room which leads to the open kitchen as well as a snug just off the hallway as you enter the property. Both rooms have Smart TVs and comfortable settees. The sociable, well equipped and spacious kitchen is open plan with the living room at one end and conservatory (used as dining room) at the other. Upstairs are three good-sized bedrooms including the spacious master kingsize bedroom with en-suite shower room. The second bedroom is a double and the third a twin bedroom. Each room has good storage space and the main bedroom is dual aspect with sea views. In all bedrooms there is white, cotton bed linen and stylish local wall art and good storage space. The fourth bedroom is the en-suite bedroom with double bed in the cabin.
Hillside House is a very modern, flexible house and will appeal to families or groups, where some may want to have time away from others in the cabin or the snug, and has easy access (not steep) to the many Lyme Regis cafés, restaurants and shops as well as the beach. Car charging facilities are available at Woodmead Car Park, just 40m away (no charging of cars at property please). Beach 1 mile.
