"First time staying. The main hotel is a character building, with rooms that are clean, and well proportioned. While they are a little dated, they are well maintained.
The staff are friendly, and our breakfast was great."

This town is our favourite seaside resort in the UK, we love it. So many interesting shops, cafes, pubs and eateries with a fabulous and accessible beach. Lots of beautiful views, charming architecture and really friendly people everywhere we went.

Lyme Regis is popular but not overrun by tourism (maybe the residents disagree) and unspoilt. Personally I would say it's the first absolutely charming seaside town moving east to west along the south coast.

Lyme Regis is a pretty seaside town and a good location for a weekend trip.
"We had a great stay at The Hideaway. It was the quietest place I think I've ever stayed. It had everything we needed for a week away.
Lyme Regis is only a couple of miles away if you're into fossils, or beaches. Only a short walk, but it's a bit of climb on the way back."
"A very nice small hotel full of character and in a beautiful setting and convenient to lyme regis. See and countryside views from the room. Lovely gardens. Friendly owners and staff went out of their way to make sure we had eventing we needed... the owners checked in with us at breakfast each morning. The 3 course table service breakfast was selectable from a menu. Classy but not pretentious. "
"Absolutely loved our stay.

Staff amazing especially Andy where nothing was to much .
Will definitely be back

"Absolutely beautiful location, house is definitely a home from home. Very well stocked kitchen, plenty of utensils, crockery, cutlery. Lovely garden for my 2 year old grandson, very safe and secure. Parking rules ensure you can always pull up outside the property. Would we stay here again? Absolutely!"
"Great location at the quieter end of Lyme right next to the Cobb, harbour and beach. The staff were really welcoming, friendly and hardworking. The food was good too. Lovely outdoor spaces to enjoy with a pint overlooking the harbour."
"Very friendly, both at check in and at breakfast. As I had a single room, it was lovely to be able to sit for a while in the gardens & residents lounge. Parking on site was a real bonus. The property is in a quiet street and only a 10 minute walk to the sea front"
Holiday Cottage with seafront beach hut - sleeps 4
10/10 Excellent
"This cottage is obviously very well loved - lots of pictures and books relevant to Lyme. Super comfy bed. Good outdoor space and then there was the fabulous beach hut! We were able to use the hut to change to swim and to leave our things safely locked away. The cottage was in a good position and had sea views. It’s a little gem"
"The bottom lock on the front door is too stiff. One side of the double bed is broken. There is no mention of the parking permit and car park on the agents website. "
