"The bed linens were full of stains from someone else’s bodily fluids. The floors and walls needed maintenance. The room smelled terrible like roach spray. When I left all of my clothes, smelled like the room. "
"Dead bugs on the bathroom window ledge with the courtesy shampoo. Live spiders and earwigs. Shower leaked and Charlie wanted to come in and fix it. Should have been done before I got there. Arrived at check in time, had to wait 30 min for Charlie to get there. No ice machine. True flea bag motel. Run away!!"

"We had an amazing time at this beautiful lakefront home in Nice, CA for our family’s 4th of July getaway. The views were absolutely stunning, and we loved the direct water access—it made the weekend feel like a true escape. One of the highlights was the private pier great for fishing and boat dock, which made lake time so easy and enjoyable.The home also featured a fantastic hot tub, a nice BBQ grill. Great outdoor sitting areas with prefer views. Which was such a fun and nice touch for group meals! We had 12 adults and still felt completely comfortable thanks to the spacious layout. It gave us plenty of room to spread out, yet still feel connected and cozy.The host was incredibly kind and responsive. We chatted a few times, and every response was quick and helpful. I also really appreciated how dog-friendly the home was—we brought three small dogs and had no issues at all!Overall, this stay exceeded expectations. From the location and amenities to the hospitality, it was the perfect place to relax, reconnect, and make memories. We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special lakefront retreat"

"Susan is a wonderful owner/manager who met us there upon arrival to make sure everything went smoothly. The house cleaning ladies were sweet and thorough! We had another amazing vacation at the lake. We have been coming to the Sunset beach house for about 20 years and the house is always been gorgeous with new upgrades. The kitchen has all the necessary appliances & features. We enjoyed the new chair in the family room. Thank you again for another wonderful year at your home. See you next year!"

"Location couldn't be beat. We actually viewed THREE fireworks displays at once. My family stayed for seven days. We had two boats, and with the pool table, foosball, ping pong and hot tub, we had more than enough to keep everyone happy. Absolutely loved it."
